What makes White Oaks special? What sets us apart?

One very important thing I personally take pride in is our staff longevity and the fact that we do not use agency nurses at our facility. Our specialists come to our facility and our residents do not have to leave for physician appointments. A testament to the care we provide is that we have many staff members who bring their own family members here for long term and/or subacute short term rehabilitation.

At White Oaks, we work to create an environment that encourages quality of life and convenience for our residents and their families. Our specialists round in the facility so our residents do not have to leave for physician appointments. Specialists include podiatry, dental, pulmonology, cardiology, gastroenterology, psychology and psychiatry.

Our nursing staff receives training to provide a higher skilled level of care including LifeVest, nebulizer and respiratory treatments.

Come see the difference of the care we provide at White Oaks, WHERE WE’RE MORE THAN JUST THERAPY.

Sincerely,
Connie Bierbauer, RN,
Director of Nursing

Nursing

Whether your stay is for short-term rehabilitation or long-term care, our registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants are on duty 24 hours per day to attend to your needs or the needs of your loved one.

A unique plan of care is created by our interdisciplinary team, including our nursing staff, rehabilitation team, therapeutic recreation, social services, dietary staff, and physicians who work together to meet each resident’s individual emotional, physical and medical needs.

Our nursing team receives ongoing clinical instruction and training programs to not only reinforce nursing interventions, knowledge and skills, but to enable them to provide a higher level of skilled care to tend to more clinically complex residents.
